The most important attractions in Gili Trawangan

Exotic beaches of Gili Trawangan, which we intend to visit over the next three days. After dealing with the bargaining on Lombok, we take a speedboat to Gili Trawangan. This is our first stop, as we intend to visit the other two islands, Gili Meno and Gili Air.

For them I have already written in previous articles. Let me recall why we are here. First of all, Gili Trawangan has wonderful diving conditions, and then a walk on the beach, taking panoramic shots if weather is appropriate.

We go down to the harbor and in ten minutes we're at the hotel. Writing a hotel means a modest wooden house with air conditioning. After a short bargain we rent the house for 6 euros. Here is super cheap, unlike the island of Bali.

A small garden, the heat, we are still near the beach. Gili Trawangan is owned by the island of Lombok and therefore all motor vehicles are banned. In addition, the local population is Muslim.

You can imagine how we feel when we listen to the sounds of the mosque three times a day, which to our unhappiness is very close to our house. But let's go back to the story about our vacation here. I can not imagine, for example, how some people can lie down all day long on the beach and laze. Flyers are half the world to come here to the island of Gili Trawangan and lie on the beach. We are not from these individuals and we are starting the tour immediately. Gili Trawangan is the largest of the three islands, the most developed in terms of tourism services. Bookmark and Share

Natural attractions in Gili Trawangan

It has a unique coral reef and a diverse underwater world. Here is everything and everything. For example, nightlife, bars, discos and restaurants at good prices. Live music and dancing, joy, lights, romantic restaurants and ocean sound.

It is a paradise in general, if there were no local population. As I have already mentioned, the population is Muslim. Once again, I fall into a place with a Muslim population that has ruined nature. People have turned this paradise into a garbage can. I do not know this is a regularity that this is happening in the Muslim world, but it is a fact.

This also applies to the Maldives and Zanzibar in the neighborhoods where islanders live. We take short walks in the inner streets outside the tourist paths and fall into junk that smells so much. And the other strange thing is that before you get into the hotel you have to go through that junk. Beautiful palm forest, and land rubbish and plastic waste.

Nature has to be protected, not to do that. I quickly capture the contrast between beauty and junk and continue to the beach. The whole island is surrounded by beautiful beaches, transparent water and a coral reef barrier. Everywhere is blue, and the sunset is amazing, real magic.

We walk on foot and we reach the bustling area. We stop looking at the young couple and the fun. The long promenade runs along the beach, the fun is behind it. Tables and chairs stacked, everything is the maximum. Inside the palm forest are the bungalows, ideally located next to each other.

Coupon noise is not heard at all. This island is a small jewel, with all its resources being the second Cayman Islands if there were not, of course, the local population. It is quite possible to tour the island of Gili Trawangan for two hours. Goodheart Beach and North Beach are the most beautiful beaches of Gili Trawangan.

All diving centers offer equipment and a motorboat to the swimming area. Be careful not to get into the sea current that is between the two islands. Gili Trawangan Island, except for fishing and diving, offers horseback riding, kayaking, golf and excursions to neighboring islands.
